SAFARI OVERVIEW

Beautiful and comfortable journey, experience the nature and wildlife take you to a very special national park. Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zones. The park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. Across the Great Rift Valley until Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive, Some unique facts about this park include the tree climbing lions, flamingos in the lake shore, as well as the Ground Hornbill and the Crested Eagle.

DAY 1 ARRIVE IN TANZANIA

Arrive in Tanzania where you will be met at the Kilimanjaro International airport with HTT Safaris guide. We will take you to your overnight lodging in Arusha and get you properly settled.

Spend one night at Lake Duluti Serena lodge in a slope of mount Meru. Your stay includes accommodation, dinner and breakfast.

DAY 2 &3: ARUSHA-TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast at the hotel picked up and drive you  to Tarangire national park for game drive, with parked Lunch game drive in the park as you expect to see big herds of Elephants 5-10-20 and sometimes up to 30 elephants per square kilometer, though if ones lucky will see the big cats lions, cheetahs and leopards among them you will also see zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and many species of antelopes and if you bids watcher then here is the best place to start sporting as many species as you can game drive till late evening then drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight at Burunge Tented Camp          

Burunge Tented Camp is located adjacent to Tarangire National park in Northern Tanzania; Set close to the shores of Lake Burunge, the evaporation pan into which the Tarangire River flows.

DAY 4: LAKE MANYARA NATIONA PARK

After your early breakfast, we depart from Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive (which usually takes around 1 hours to drive), Lake Manyara National Park offers a wilderness experience in diverse habitats, from its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Apart from a spectacular setting, the park is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions and the vast elephant herds it was established to protect. The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants. Large herds of buffalo, cheetah, Masai giraffe and impala roam the lake shores and the forested valley slopes. A Lake Manyara safari is a fascinating experience as the park also features a ground-water forest; acacia tortilis woodland and

Hot springs called “Maji Moto”.

Spend two nights at Manyara Serena Lodge. Accommodation is in an elegant, standing high on the edge of a towering terracotta escarpment with panoramic views over the glittering alkaline waters of Lake Manyara; Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge offers a unique blend of safari opportunities, peace and tranquility, wildlife discovery, and ornithological richness. The unprecedented range of high-adventure sports, meanwhile, include mountain biking, canoeing and forest walks, while cultural choices include tours of the neigh bouring villages and dance displays by the local Iraqw and sukuma people. DAY 5: MTO WA MBU MARKET & VISIT VILLAGE TO ARUSHA TOWN
After the breakfast we will visit the local Market at Mto WA Mbu and villages around the Lake Manyara experience the life at the local village setting, meeting local people, learning about their culture, agriculture and history of the area. We return back to the Lodge/Camp for lunch and then transfer back to Arusha town where we will end our African safari adventure.
